At Beaver Coach Sales & Service, we count ourselves lucky to have employee experts in each department. For example, in the Sales department, we have a team of 5 Product Experts that interview clients about their unique lifestyle to match them with a fitting RV. We have several decades of repair experience in the Service department, combined with the latest computer diagnostic equipment to ensure a quick and accurate evaluation of your RV. In our Parts department, we have 50 years of combined RV part sourcing experience.

Among the Part's employees, there is one individual who stands apart; he is our dedicated Beaver Parts Broker. His name is Mike Premus, and many of you have likely worked with him before on your hard-to-find Beaver/Monaco/Safari parts. In particular, these parts can be rather tough to locate, given that the last Beaver Coach ever manufactured drove off the plant's lot in 2010. Thankfully, with Mike's eight years of RV Part sourcing, he's got the process pretty well locked down.

Mike's process varies for each part; he sources and can range from scouring the internet, catalogs, or manufacturer databases, to identifying a similar part used in a different RV build, to knowing a guy, who knows a guy. If you've tried to source a part on your own for one of these retired RV builds, you likely understand the complexities of this process. We hope this article helps shed light on the process and sets expectations appropriately if you have not.

We often get feedback from those who have not tried solo-sourcing about the length of time it can take to locate and distribute these parts. Currently, Mike is a one-man-show, and he does his very best to return phone calls, answer questions, gather information, and uncover rare parts for his customers in a speedy-fashion. Beaver Coach Sales & Service is always trying to cross-train employees with Mike to help share the workload. However, this process genuinely contains quite a bit of "tribal knowledge" or knowledge that can only be attained through experience.

That said, if you know of anyone who has a weirdly vast amount of knowledge on Beaver/Monaco/Safari parts and they are looking for employment, send them our way! In the meantime, rest assured that sourcing rare parts through our team will be the most accurate and convenient experience available to you. Beaver Coach Sales & Service has built long, lasting relationships with the RV parts suppliers in the industry, and these relationships give us the ability to provide the best value to you.
