Wear Pink with a Purpose
The Power of Pink
Campaign Ambassadors across the nation are stepping up and using the power of wearing pink
to raise funds and draw attention to the breast cancer fight. In fact, every dollar raised
helps the American Cancer Society save more lives from breast cancer through early detection
and prevention, breakthrough breast cancer discovery and research, and lifesaving patient
support.
Boys and Girls Club of Bend
We are proud supporters of the Boys and Girls Club of Bend, providing financial contributions and volunteering our time to help create a safe and nurturing environment for the youth in our community. Some of our favorite initiatives include: Partnership on a float in the Bend Christmas Parade, Title Sponsorship of their primary fundraiser “Flannel and Frost”, and hosting their summer Workforce Wednesday programming. We are also very proud of a new initiative that took place during Christmas of 2023. During our staff Christmas party, the Beaver Coach Sales team assembled and donated bicycles to the kids of the Boys and Girls Club. It was a joyous occasion seeing the children receive these gifts. For some, it was the first bicycle they had ever owned.
FFA of Bend and Redmond
Our dealership actively engages with the Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapters in Bend and Redmond. We support their programs and events, helping to foster the next generation of agricultural leaders. Some highlights of our support include: Title sponsor and host of the annual Run for the Roses dinner and auction, as well as the purchase and processing of student market-animal projects. The processed meat is then gifted to our staff and produced a whopping 60 lbs for each of our 60+ employees to take home in addition to barbecue seasonings and accessories, last fall in an event our employees have titled “The Great Meat Giveaway”. BCS’s financial contribution is in excess of $23,000 for this meat purchase.
Ronald McDonald House
Every month, our team volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House, cooking meals for families with children receiving medical care. This initiative is close to our hearts, and we are dedicated to providing comfort and support to these families during challenging times. BCS commits about $1,000 per month to this cause.
Toys for Tots
We participate in the annual Toys for Tots campaign, collecting and donating toys to ensure that children in need have a joyful holiday season. Our dealership serves as a collection point and encourages both staff and customers to contribute to this worthy cause. For several years, we have been one of the largest contributors in the state of Oregon.
Central Oregon Veterans Outreach
We support our veterans by organizing clothing drives to provide much-needed apparel and accessories. This initiative helps to ensure that veterans in our community receive the recognition and support they deserve. Our staff and some kind customers have donated enough clothing for multiple truckloads to be delivered. We also celebrate the dedication of our veteran staff by treating them to a complimentary lunch on Veterans’ Day each year.
