Meet Vanleigh

A Brief History

Vanleigh (pronounced “van lee”) is a division of Tiffin – one of the most well-respected motorhome builders in the industry. In fact, the Van in Vanleigh is the son of Bob Tiffin, owner of Tiffin Motorhomes, and Leigh is his grandson! With shared roots, experience, and a common vision for providing a superior product to their customers, Vanleigh and Tiffin are two of the most well-known and respected names in the RV industry. With Tiffin dominating the Class A market year in and year out, Vanleigh demonstrates its expertise in the world of fifth-wheels.

Vanleigh RV operates out of Mississippi and produces several luxury fifth-wheel models, including the Pinecrest, the Vilano, and the Beacon.

In December 2020, Tiffin and Vanleigh were acquired by THOR Motorcoach.

After their history of being a family owned business since being established in 1972, the future for Tiffin and Vanleigh is looking bright. Regardless of having been incorporated into the THOR family, Tiffin and Vanleigh will continue to be family operated, reaping the rewards of decades of family values and top-tier industry experience.

What Sets Vanleigh Apart

Vanleigh takes the quality-over-quantity approach to building fifth-wheels. Their RVs feature real handcrafted solid wood cabinetry, Multiplex 12V Electrical System (originally implemented by Mercedes Benz), and 5-sided framed, insulated, and laminated slide rooms (suitable for full-time living.) Further, Vanleigh conducts a three-stage PDI that includes a positive pressure test, camping trip simulation, and a final quality-control test. Backing this all up is their 3-year construction warranty and 1-year base limited warranty (no mileage or deductible limitations.)
